10 Normal.
9 Mild Derangement.
8 -1 to resist the effects of a derangement. +1 dot in Occult
7 Mild Derangement becomes Severe.
6 -1 to all Social Skills (except Intimidation) Gain skill specialty (Basement)
5 -1 to all Mental Skills (except Occult)
4 Reduce the bonus gained by spending a point of Willpower by 1. If a character uses Willpower to oppose an Insanity attacking power, the bonus granted by Willpower is 4 dice.
3 Lose access to a single Social Merit. If the character does not have any Social Merits, reduce all Social attributes by one dot .
2 Reduce the bonus gained by spending a point of Willpower by 2. If a character uses Willpower to oppose an Insanity attacking power, the bonus granted by Willpower is 5 dice.
1 Lose access to a single Mental Merit. If the character does not have any Mental Merits, reduce all Mental attributes by one dot.
0 The character loses their grip on reality and is removed from play.
